Text Message Program Terms

Program. Tortuga Realty LLC sends text messages to its tenants, applicants, owners, and prospective clients about their tenancy, account, and property inquiries. Messages may be sent by a Tortuga Realty agent or by the company's assistant, "Moneypenny," on the company's behalf.

Message types. Rent and payment reminders, lease and renewal notices, maintenance and inspection scheduling, property showings and appointment confirmations, replies to inquiries, and account notifications and verification codes.

How you opt in. You agree to receive these texts by one of: (1) providing your mobile number and checking the SMS-consent box on Tortuga Realty's lease or rental application; (2) submitting the opt-in form at rentmaxxing.com/sms-signup; or (3) giving your number and agreeing verbally when you contact us or attend a showing. New contacts receive a one-time confirmation text and must reply YES to begin. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of renting, leasing, or purchasing any property.

Frequency. Message frequency varies based on your tenancy and your requests.

Cost. Tortuga Realty does not charge for messages, but message and data rates may apply from your carrier.

Opt out / help. Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts; reply HELP for help, or email hello@rentmaxxing.com.

Privacy. We respect your privacy. No mobile information or text-message opt-in will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
